I just couldn't do it without Turbo Tax. It's criminal that in this country two adults with Master's Degrees can't complete their tax for without outside help. Thank you, Turbo Tax for doing what our government should be doing.
What's great about it: Remembering last year's data; simplifies terms.
What's not so great: Navigation to specific completed items is a little tedious.

I have used turbo tax for the last 6 years. It is so easy to use and it explains everything to you. I have saved money using turbo tax.
What's great about it: So easy to do it yourself
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used turbotax every year since I started filing on my own, and I plan on using it next year. I will say there are some sections that were less then simple to figure out namely the DIV/INT stuff... not that I fully understand it anyway, but I did have stocks and it wasn't the easiest section to navigate.
What's great about it: step by step
What's not so great: some of the sections were difficult to understand and know what info they needed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My wife before she passed and myself have used Turbo Tax for many years and I have recomended Turbo Tax every chance I get.
What's great about it: Easy to input and import tax info quickly able to spot miss info
What's not so great: Unable to find info on 2nd fed 1040 in the state filing pkg

Step by Step Easy to follow

The software is great. It was easy to follow, step by step. At the end they look for errors and help to correct them. I had a couple to fix, one was confusing so I had to call for help. The help was great, got it resolved really quick. The problem was finding a number to talk to a human. The whole process was easy.
What's great about it: Step by step easy to follow instructions.
What's not so great: Kind of hard to find a phone to call for questions
