Easy does it

I have been using Turbotax for many years and I have never encounter any problem. I have seen other softwares and no comparison to the Turbotax.
What's great about it: easy to navigate

Easy, accurate and outstanding!

Used TurboTax for years, have recommended it highly, and plan to continue to use as long as we prepare returns. Switch between step-by-step and forms views very effective this year.
Ability to easily compare year-to-year is most appreciated.

Great Tool

I've used Turbo Tax often. I never fail to be impressed with how complete it is and easy to get through without any problems. It does a much better job than the supposed tax professionals!
What's great about it: complete and easy to follow
What's not so great: hard to know when to print for all info

Do it myself!

I have used Turbo Tax for about 20 years because I can take my time to gather info and forms if I have missed one rather than try to gather it altogether to take to someone in an office.
I purchased my first computer for the single reason to do my own taxes.

What's great about it: I can take my time to read questions and understand what I need to file.
What's not so great: State format for K-1 does not have numbers to coincide with K-1.

Good Software

Would like a button o each screen that displays the irs instructions for that item.
What's great about it: Gives me confidence i have done things correct. Once i cannpt itemize anymore i will not use Thrbotax.
What's not so great: Still a little had to navigate when skipping around and with being able to display and see the active forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used many services over the years. From big name tax services to CPA's to manually completing the forms myself. None of these compare to TurboTax. TurboTax is extremely detailed to find every advantage for the tax preparer. TurboTax knows every question to ask and gives you the information about every detail. It is user friendly because it will answer your questions while you complete your taxes. From a novice to an expert, TurboTax is set up to give you the maximum benefit.
