Quick and Easy

I will keep useing turbo-tax to do my taxes until I find something better.
What's great about it: It's faster than other tax prepare places.
What's not so great: Can't get my tax money put on a pre-paid debit card.

TLC 1098 needs some work

I needed to included the amount of my living benefits that my shown on my LTC-1098 for someone who is getting living benefits for a Terminally ill person. It did state that the money was not taxable but because it was not relected it made my deductions seem out of line considering how much my disability payments were. I tkink that the chance me showing on the audit possiblity would be less if the IRS could see that amount.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and Easy to use
What's not so great: TLC 1098 needs some work

Easy and fast!

This makes it easy by taking me step-by-step through the entire process, and also helps find some deductions, etc. by interpreting the tax laws for you. I love the audit defense option and believe it is worth it just as a safety measure.
What's great about it: Pretty fast, easy, and helped me get the best refund possible
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent value and Ease Of Ust

This year (2012 return) was especially easy, due to the fact that I did not have to manually input the W-2. Importing from the W-2 service made things really easy.
Also, entering the charitable deductions directly on the return vs. using Its Deductible and then importing from Its Deductible, made my life much easier. Its Deductible is great, but this way involved less typing and going back and forth after each entry. It's a winner!
All the ways Turbo Tax asks the questions and gets you to answer them to make the return complete and error free is remarkable. How could there be any errors after such thoroughness?!
I am very confident, just as I have been these last 5 years or more of using Turbo Tax to efile my taxes, that they are correct. I always receive my refund promptly and it is always the correct amount.

This is the third year that we've used TurboTax. It's so easy and everything is layed out so well. It's literally a fill-in-the-blank.
What's great about it: It imported all my personal information from last year.

A Great Tool!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now, and I would never be able to do my taxes without it. I purchase the Deluxe version because I have a small home-based business in addition to my family's regular income and deductions. I used the chat feature when I needed support, and the representative was extremely helpful. She walked me through the error I was getting quickly, and I was back on my way. I love that Turbo Tax saves the previous year's tax information so I can quickly compare where I was last year with where I am this year, plus I don't have to re-enter all of the information that stays the same from year to year. I am a loyal Turbo Tax user, and probably will be as long as they're around!
What's great about it: Easy to use, with lots of help along the way.
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to find and fix errors... especially regarding the HSA / HDHP information.

Great, with just a few nits

Overall, a most positive experience. I love the ability to import from last year and from It's Deductible. And it is great to be able to review this year's amounts and compare to last. The error check is the only weird thing: when it finds an error, it would just reference some obscure form number and box. A better choice would be to provide a link to the form, so I could see it and better understand what it was talking about.
What's great about it: Super easy, step-by-step instructions, plus hints and tips (like the 1099-SA)
What's not so great: When it finds errors, I've no clue what forms to boxes

Gets the job done easily with all previous info already loaded, just have to change figures for the current year.
