What's up with SSA Lump Sum from prior years...???

I did great except where it came to my wife's lump sum payment for SSA disability for 2010. I would have thought Turbo Tax would have pulled that info from my other Turbo Tax programs from 2010 or 2011 which are still installed on my computer. I had to go look all that up from hard copies. Bummer.... Thanks Ken

Quick + Easy = No hassle

This was the first time I did my own takes without the help of my dad. It was fast and easy. If I wasn't sure if the answer was yes or no, I hit yes and based on how I answered the following questions, let me know if this was right for me.
It was fun watching my refund go up.
Will recommend this to all my friends especially those who just graduated college like me.

What's great about it: Easy step by step that never takes a wrong turn

Bugging out!

Please update the instructions on the state tab to close the software manually and reopen it to continue with the state. The current instructions/advisory tells me it's automated. And caused me to site on hold for over 30 minutes before I manually closed the software and reopened it...
Not liking much.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: State return process is buggy

A very simple process!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 5 years and am very pleased with the program. After we retired 5 yrs ago our lives became very simple and after paying someone else to do our tax returns for so many years I reluctantly decided to try doing them myself with the help of TT. The second year I even tried doing it with TT and then turning it over to a tax specialist and I came out slightly better on the return done with TT. We only have our SS income and MRD's from our IRA's so it isn't complicated at all. I might feel differently if we had numerous sources of income, rental properties and so on but as it is-it works great for us.
What's great about it: If you are at least semi-organized-It's a piece of cake!
What's not so great: None

FIRM BELIEVER IN TURBO TAX

We have used Turbo Tax for at least 12 years and every year I am excited to start our taxes, because I know Turbo Tax is looking for every deduction we qualify for. We have gotten money back every year we have used Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I like that I can take as long as I need to complete the taxes and I can start as soon as I get information.
What's not so great: This year it was harder to start where you left off.

Turbo Tax did not and has not disappointed me in the past 15 years of use. The program is thorough,simple to understand and complete in all aspects of its program. I cannot see myself using any other program.
What's great about it: Ease in which Turbo Tax guides you along
