Another successful year with Turbo Tax.

Twelve years ago my band mates told me about Turbo Tax and they were right. I don't pay an accountant anymore.
It's really easy to use even with my complicated situation. I really like being able to step back, go to forms, review entries, and see what my risk of audit is. My only issue is with the State program. Montana has a difficult filing system and it would be nice to "Explore on my own" as I can in the Federal Turbo Tax program. That way I can pick an area to check out or work on and then move on. I wanted to check for errors on last time but would have had to run the entire program to do that.

This is my 13th year of using Turbo Tax for our personal return. I find it easy to use and in plain plain English, not too much eagle legal detail but enough to be accurate. Having used various other products while employed I find TT to be my favorite.

EASY AND SIMPLE

Filing for taxes has always been something I do not look forward to and prefer to have someone else do it. I was recommended to purchase turbo tax from a relative and coworker. Turbo tax is quick and easy. The simple directions makes filing very easy to understand and also allows you to have deductions you may forget to get deducted. All the steps was easy to follow and the price is very affordable. I would definitely use turbo tax again to file next year. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: EASY DIRECTIONS TO FOLLOW
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

information was easy to follow and any questions where answered by the help icons. used turbo tax last year and will continue to use it in the future. very pleased on how easy it was to use, I can use the computer a little but this helped extremely for one that is not that computer literate.
What's great about it: walked through tax return and help find mistakes and extra tax saving

I sat down with my info in hand, and before a one hour reality show was complete, so was my taxes!
What's great about it: With all my info handy, returns took less than an hour
What's not so great: State file should be included in the price

What's great about it: Thorough, easy to understand
What's not so great: Setting up direct deposit for state return was difficult
