Pretty simple

I've done my own taxes for years, first using a pencil and paper and lately using Turbo Tax Deluxe. I feel very comfortable with the online aids and hints. I am sure my return was correctly input and recorded. It is so nice to get a refund direct deposited within a few weeks at the most. Thank you, Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: easy instructions, access to answers to questions
What's not so great: really no con to it

Easy as Usual

I have used turbo Tax for many years. I have never had an issue until this year wit ha 1099-DIV. Was not able to correct the error until after I contacted Turbo Tax and found solution on-line.
What's great about it: Asks you for the information and you complete or you can enter on your own
What's not so great: Wanted information on 1099-DIV that was not applicable. Caused error so could't file until fixed

My taxes have ranged from medium complexity to very complex. Turbotax always makes filing easy. The help features are excellent, when I need futher explanation. Even though I owed taxes this year, I am confident that no deductions were overlooked.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use and to walk through.
What's not so great: nothing

Some explanations are vague or go in circles. Does not give me direction to deduct vehicle excise tax in personal tax category for state of Maine.
What's great about it: Transfers data from previous years
What's not so great: Does not show me how to deduct excise tax on a vehicle in Maine
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Super Fast Refund

Overall, I love turbo tax and I always use it to file my taxes. Turbo tax is user friendly , fast, reliable, and easy. I honestly enjoy filling out my taxes with turbo tax. It's excellent. The only thing that I found to be annoying was that at one point i wanted to speak to someone but i had trouble finding a phone number to call- a small mishap though. Lots of love for turbo tax!!
