Filing made easy and stress free

A great product put together so that the novice filer can find his/her way through what can be a complicated process.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions and ongoing tax refund status are big plusses

Always solid and reliable

Turbo Tax makes doing your taxes as easy as possible. As long as you you everything you need when you start then you can count on the program guiding you through the process that otherwise you would have spent hours reading through books trying to figure things out. I know that if I am ready when i start then things will get done right and fast. Last year i did them myself on paper and then using Turbo Tax to see if I could get evcerything righ on my own and I missed a deduction that would have had me paying instead of gettting a refund. dont worry about that now.
What's great about it: I know as long as I do what I'm asked Turbo tax taked care of everything

I used to use that other tax preparer until one year I did both to see the difference and I got back a ton more with Turbo Tax!

Most Thourough Tax Program

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and it only gets better each year. This program has all the information you will ever need. You can pay a professional but who is to say they will do it correctly. Turbo Tax makes sure your returns are error free. I will continue to use it in the future. A great product overall and I recommend it to anyone.
What's great about it: The ease of going through the step-by-step guide. Everything is there to complete your taxes accurately.
What's not so great: Nothing negative to comment about at this time

I love Turbo Tax

I love being able to input data, save it and return to it when I get add'l documents. I love being able to bookmarks issues and return to complete them. I love that you tell me what forms I need to answer certain questions. I love being able to purchase TurboTax at a discount if I do it early enough. I hate doing taxes, but TurboTax takes some of the pain away!
What's great about it: easy to use, I can work on it adn save my work, e-filing
What's not so great: if it takes me a couple sessions to complete, I have to relaod updates

Very good. Used for 15 years. like comparisons. Requirement to print for "filing" after e-filing confusing

Problems with Utah Return

Had to call twice (ID#405177463 & #405179112) and could not get question answered. I moved from Oregon to Utah and had paid income taxes to both states.
1-It was confusing which state form to run first and told differently which was my permanent residency state.

2-had to delete state form twice to rerun, so Utah would go first and then it was confusing about the "taxes paid to another state form. I believe it was TC40C & TC40S. Since I did not receive any form from the state of Utah I just declined the prompts and my refund reduced over $300.
The whole state tax process was confusing. Please improve computer prompts of which state to file first and then the Utah form pertaining to the specific forms mentioned bove.
What's great about it: Friendly Phone Service
What's not so great: Impossible to get Utah CPA
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
