great 1st experience

had a great first time experience using this software, will continue to use it in the feature-super easy to use throughout and the added state component was perfect.It seems foolproof
What's great about it: super easy to use
What's not so great: nothing easy to navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall I have found and continue to find TurboTax helpful. Having recently moved from employee status to self employed I debated having someone deal with my taxes. In the end I decided to use TurboTax and found the change in circumstances were pretty well recognized and guided me through the addition details needed. So far more than content with the results.
What's great about it: Step by Step process and checking along the way
What's not so great: Helpful to still know some tax language
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: A half hour magic, clear, fast, understandable
What's not so great: Never did get an ID/password ---one neww name for ID and the help stopped!

Yeah refunds!

Overall, I love Turbotax to file my federal and state returns. I have Turbotax files on my computor since 2008 and appreciate the ability to import information from the prior year's returns. This year, entering the child care provider and amount info got a bit confusing. Turbotax kept cycling back through the same screens when asking me to pick a dependent's name from the drop-down menu. I hit the "easy" button and that seemed to keep it in the cycle. Eventually, I clicked the dependent's name and continue and was able to finish- just not as intuitive as I'm used to with Turbotax. That is my only complaint. I will use it again next year for sure.
What's great about it: Quick and easy- walked me though every step
What's not so great: Adding child care information was a bit confusing.

Lack of support on tax questions takes from value

When I had tax questions it just let me ask it of the "community" and no one answered my questions. Sure different from what they advertise on TV!
What's great about it: Comprehensive software
What's not so great: Poor support on tax questions

Love Turbo Tax and have used it for years. However, as taxes become more complicated, I find it difficult to manage the program. No more IRS help.
What's great about it: All the calculations put on the right forms
What's not so great: Found getting around not as easy as in yeaars gone by.

I've used TurboTax for ten years and find it the easiest way to file my taxes it is accurate, fast and E-file makes it that much easier at this hectic time of year.
What's great about it: The best way to file your taxes
What's not so great: Can't find any

REFUND, REFUND, REFUND, REFUND

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR SO LONG I THOUGHT OF MYSELF AS AN EXPERT AND KNEW ALL I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT POSTING DATA IN TURBO TAX. HOWEVER, I FOUND OUT THIS YEAR I WAS NOT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT I WAS. AFTER COMPLETING MY FEDERAL TAX I OWED THE GOVERNMENT $19,600.00. I CHECKED AND RECHECKED SEVERAL TIMES BUT COULD NOT FIND NO MISTAKES. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO CALL FOR HELP. SO MY WIFE SUGGESTED I CALL A TURBO TAK ADVISOR. NOT ONLY DID HE FINE THE MISTAKES I MADE BUT THE $19,600.00 I OWED THE GOVERNMENT WENT TO A $1800.00 RETURN. TURBO TAX IS AWSOME.
What's great about it: THE HELP I GOT FROM THE HELP SECTION.
What's not so great: NONE. I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR MANY YEARS. NEVER GAVE A THOUGHT ABOUT CHANGING TO ANOTHER COMPANY. HAVE RECOMMEND
