Easiest way to file your taxes

Been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and it just keeps
getting better and easier to use. I find it very enjoyable
to do my taxes with Turbo Tax. It's like playing a game
where, if you're fortunate enough you'll get rewards.

Always had a tax person do my taxes - never felt secure enough to do on my own. Not anymore. Shoulda purchased this years ago!

I would like to know what my State taxes instead of just trusting you will see everything...This is my first State tax form and it was not for the entire year...I hope next year will be easier...

Did an okay job

I filed my return, but then, of course, I received a new tax document which I had forgotten about (a small dividend). Well, I don't see how to do an amendment.
Also, to go the the "form" associated with the question is not an easy task (used to be, but now not as intuitive). It seems they are trying to make this for Apple users (no thinking) which isn't a great idea.
What's great about it: Fast
What's not so great: doesn't like to show the substance under the hood

required false information

Just as the form was in the filing process a page came up saying that additional information was needed that was not needed before.
They then asked for my W2 state and zip
They then asked for my employeers state and zip.
They then asked for my employeers state and zip.
No explanation as to why (not even a "learn more" link).
I have been retired for 20 years and have had no W2s for at least 12 years and listed no W2s in my return. What the heck?
This was both very frustrating and senseless.

Nice and easy

Turbo Tax is easy to use, and I have been using it for years. The only negative is that supporting documentation--for example "Student Loan Interest Deduction Worksheet" which applied in previous years, but not to this year, are still printed out at the end.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: "Keep for your records"
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
