Amazingly Easy!

Who'd have thought that a program to figure federal and state taxes might be possible? I certainly didn't and wish it could have been available years ago when I struggled with tax return paperwork. Turbotax guides you along gently, building each section of information needed to provide a finished product that can be saved on the computer, printed, and sent to the government by electronic E-filing for quick processing or printed copies can be mailed but will take longer to process.
What's great about it: thoroughness of program, asked questions I'd never though of

Got my refund quicker without any mistakes!

For a first timer it may be daunting but KEEP WITH IT!! Keep your records in a folder throughout the year - including pay stubs! Entering the info in on a Q+A basis which is simple, logical and direct. If you are getting a refund do an electronic filing and have the $$ deposited to your bank account. Otherwise Print out your return along with the tax due, put it in an envelope and mail it on April 15th!! Heads you get your bucks sooner! Tails, well you get to keep your money a bit longer! Also when doing your return the next year most of your info is added automatically. It is a good product!
What's great about it: Audit Support! Electronic filing Inc with cost
What's not so great: State electronic filing is extra, should be included!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it to be very easy to use. You can fill in the information at your own pace and e-file right from home.
What's great about it: Guidelines are easy to follow Does not take a lot of time

This is the 3rd year we've used Turbo Tax and would never use another tax filing product. TurboTax is so very user friendly.
