Needed the Help

For the most part, Turbo Tax is not difficult to use. My return is relatively simple. There hasn't been any unusual transactions for the past five years. I am not a computer expert and find this to be easily followed and easy enough to edit if needed.
What's great about it: Importing information from last return
What's not so great: Each year the questions for information seem to change

So Easy That I Was Afraid That I Was Confused!!!

After filing, I am still amazed at how TurboTax took charge. There is no doubt in my mind that I plan to use it next year.
What's great about it: I haven't used TurboTax for several years, as I was overseas, and I was amazed how complete AND EASY that it is.
What's not so great: Getting used to the control of the TurboTax system after not using it for some time.

A little Confused

I downloaded data from last year. My asked me some questions, ( She watched me do it this year) and I stopped and went back in the data to show why I was doing somethings and how the questions she had would be answered later. But I had a hard time going back to where I left off. It was probably the pressure of my wife but it was a little difficult this year. It worked and I will use it again
What's great about it: Everything was organized
What's not so great: Didn't seem to go as easy as last years

Keep the Change

We have used Turbo Tax in the past. This year was a little frustrating when the document couldn't be found on our computer. We had saved the documents and program and it disappeared. The questions for the program are very accurate and helpful to fill out the forms needed. As always filing two states can be a breeze if you have your info gathered. Rest assured we have a back up if there is an audit.
What's great about it: Key Details, easy file
What's not so great: sometimes time consuming
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

as mentioned easy to go thru very helpful in explanations of items. Sometimes it is difficult to determine where to make changes to line items and where exactly they are. Also when the form is being reviewed -- it would be nice to actually have an option to go to the form (detail) in question versus changing the line item only.
What's great about it: easy to go thru and understand

2012 Turbo Tax Review

The Turbo Tax software continues to improve year after year. Last years return data imported without a hitch. It took me one hour to complete my state and federal returns. I'm very pleased.
What's great about it: Ease of use

tune into turbo tax

Easy to use. Easy to review, to pick up where you left off, and/ or to check on what you have already done. The opportunity to view the actual 1040 Forms is helpful. The comparison to last year is quite useful, The drop downs are clear.
The ONLY problem that I had was completing the PA forms. I expect that may be more of a PA problem than a Turbo Tax problem and may stem from the fact that I initially purchased the Federal form. I purchased PA only after I had already completed the federal forms and was virtually ready to file electronically.
What's great about it: 2012 Turbo Tax is easier to use than ever.
What's not so great: The "missing info" tutorial for PA was a bit confusing, but let's face it, living in PA is a challenge.

So Complete for Filing

I have used TurboTax Deluxe for many years [well over fifteen (15) years] and each year each improvement has been to my liking and so useful.

PS - I do not own a business. My wife has a small LLC.
What's great about it: Even better for me this year. All my state & federal tax forms were in perfect order for filing.
