Loved my refund

overall I thought it was a great option for the money, few little quirks can drive you crazy. Kept on asking me fro a different zip code for my daughter's school at the end, would have appreciated it catching the fact I had entered wrong state when I first entered the information.
What's great about it: looked at all deductions, had professional preparer review previous years and he could not find any more deductions
What's not so great: difficult to get straight answers online

This was sooooo easy

Tax filing season is always stressful, but Turbo Tax makes it simple and easy to file. Been using Turbo Tax since 2009 and love it!!! My guess is the makers of Turbo Tax subscribe to the K.I.S.S. principle...keep it simple silly.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and easy to navigate
What's not so great: No cons.....

Not smart enough to critique now. Probably need a couple more years to acquaint myself with the subtleties of the process to provide comments of value. But, for now, TurboTax is great. Thank you.

TurboTax 2013

TurboTax again provided an easy way to enter IRS information to complete the yearly task. However, again the local taxes were not well constructed. When part way through the local tax section (RITA) I was asked to again enter W2 information. Why was it not carried over? I was asked if I had Schedule C income. Could not that have been checked by the program? I somehow missed the Estimated Taxes for 2013 and decided it was easier to get a refund sent to me than go back and hunt any longer for the place to have my refund applied to 2013.
However, in the big picture, I was very thankful for TurboTax; thankful for the forwarding from last year, and yes, I will definitely be using it again next year....and hoping for just a few more tweaks!

What's great about it: A walk through the world of the IRS in a least painful way possible.
What's not so great: Finding specific forms and preparing local taxes can be challenging,
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Simplicity with a kick

It may seem scary at first, but if you do it slowly, read everything and make sure you understand everything then you can succeed comfortably. The step by step logic is immaculate. Has this product ever been nominated for Product of the Year/. It should be!
What's great about it: Fun, clever, logical, and easy to love
What's not so great: Not much to not like.

My tax time dependency

I've been using Turbo Tax since it came on 4 1/2" discs. It helps me organize my papers and I like the clarifications of every arcane tax issue. I trust it to cover every part of a very complex tax code. Its ability to pickup all the data from the prior year and give me comparisons is another feature that makes it a must year over year. And, then, there's the audit backup (which I haven't needed) and the E filing.
What's great about it: Well thought out and properly detailed
What's not so great: Sometimes I want to click a box to get to an underllying entry page and can't

Fantastic Time Saver!!

Having used TurboTax since 2008 I have learned that proper preparation is the key to fast and efficient use of the software.
If an entry error is made TurboTax detects the problem quickly and the information is easily changed. I have never had a single problem with TurboTax for five years.

What's great about it: Everything is simple and straightforward. Almost error-proof.
