50% of output is only as good as the input data provided by me, but the number crunching is fast and valued.
What's great about it: saves time, headaches, stress.
What's not so great: other users responses lack creditability

not as good as other years. trouble with override and foreign tax entry. says to go back to point of entry but cant get there from here

Maximized my Deductions

My wife lost her job and no taxes were taken out of her unemployement checks. Also we had to cash in our investments to help pay bills and they had to be figured into our taxable income. With the bad year we had I was not looking forward to doing our taxes. Being we needed to cut back on expenses I decided to use TurboTax instead of going to a tax preparation service. Even with all the changes in our life I found TurboTax very easy to use and they really help me maximize our deductions.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to use
What's not so great: None I will use it again

I'll use Turbo Tax again because they cover everything.

Long install

It actually took longer to install Turbo Tax than to complete and file my taxes. I don't know the reason for this. The cause could have been a local hardware or ISP problem. Anyway, once installed it was very simple to complete and file. I would recommend (and do) to anyone.
What's great about it: Easy to e-file
What's not so great: Took a long time to install and update

System is easy to use. Being able to save and go back to items is a big help. Also providing the IRS forms and publications is a big help also.

While I have been using Turbo Tax for over 17 years, this years addition was not detailed enough. There were several sections where I had to open the help window.
What's great about it: Ease of Use
