I didn't think that we would get a refund....

It seems that the program has become more dynamic. TurboTax reminded me about health insurance premiums that I paid while self employed, which made a huge difference in our return.
What's great about it: TurboTax saved us money that I would have otherwise missed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Helpful to navigate taxes

TurboTax helps me in navigating taxes for all of my income, investments, deductions, etc. I like how I can easily go back and add in more information or change information if I didn't do something correctly the first time in order to fix it without having to redo calculations by hand.
What's great about it: Gave me a lot of help in thinking through various tax situations
What's not so great: Some questions on overseas income are confusing
Pros: I moved, I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Tax Refund HEAVEN!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now to file our tax returns. I always get the answers I need and the year over year consistency in the product makes me confident I am always getting the best refund available. Thanks, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax Online answers all my questions and makes it easy for me to get my money FAST! I have used it for YEARS now!
What's not so great: Would like to have an easy way to call an expert, when needed.

No idea what I'm doing - w/ TurboTax - who cares

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. I really appreciate that they take the time to improve the process each year. Each year I have an OMG moment. I can't believe it's so easy.
Also being able to transfer last years return is a great time saver and help. Reminds you of all you had last year and helps you double check for this year.

What's great about it: Easyguide is great. Just answer the question and WOW
What's not so great: Hung up on downloading w-2's

Saved me money!

I changed my state of residence during the last quarter of the year. I was scared to death to do these taxes myself, but I had already paid for TurboTax 2012 and felt I shouldn't just throw that money away. Besides, I have been a TurboTax user for over 5 years. . The instructions and the guidance was wonderful. I feel confident that the information I entered on my tax return is accurate and I will not hesitate to use TurboTax again next year - scary part is that I just sold my house in 2013 that is in the other state. Here we go again! I have faith that TurboTax will come through for me. Thank you for being so easy to understand and utilize.
What's great about it: Guided me through necessary steps for accuracy
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Use of Turbo tax -wonderful

I've been using TurboTax since the days of dot matrix printers. There have been a few years where there have been some stinker versions but this one is by far my best experience ever. By using TurboTax, I know what documents I will need for filing my returns and entry of information is almost painless. The use of ItsDeductible makes charitable contributions that much easier to enter. I especially like the flow with which TurboTax's easyguide process takes you through the return.It makes sense and you work on one section at a time. No more fumbling around and jumping back and forth between worksheets. Turbotax does it in the background. If you need to itemize something, it allows you to do that. I like being able to compare my numbers to last year's totals in each section. It remembers what I deducted last year and prompts me for information. I almost forgot one key Business Expense which saved me just a few more dollars in taxes. Being able to reference the IRS publication for clarification is a bonus if I find that TurboTax does not provide enough information for me to make an entry.
This year I refinanced and had a little difficulty figuring out how to enter my points but finally got the correct boxes checked and was able to amortize my points correctly. I'm not sure what I did wrong but it took me three tries to get the correct numbers in the right places.
Overall, this is a big WINNER. Took me only two full days to do my taxes compared with weeks in previous years returns. My organization of receipts helped but Turbotax remembering all of my previous years info and importing it proved to be a huge timesaver. A+ guys. Thanks
