Used TurboTax for decades

As noted in "Cons", except for an additional digit, the number 1, being added to the forms from some of the supporting deail sheets, everything worked properly. As an example,if the supporting detail sheet had a total of $495, it transferred a figure of $1495 to the form. In all of the decades that I have been using TurboTax this is the first year that I ever had that error.
Overall, TurboTax is a great program and makes doing taxes much simpler. Having a home business and investments would have precluded me from doing taxes myself.
During the year we enter all of our income and expenses into "Quicken". At the end of the year we print out a "Category Report" that I use to enter data into TurboTax. That way we don't have to get together all of our receipts at the end of the year; all of the data is in the report. Quicken and TurboTax are a great team of software.

Easier than last year

Very helpful information all the way through. Good access in an out of State and Federal forms. Easy to back up and edit information. My mother could have used it easily. Love it
What's great about it: do not have to re-enter information from Federal to State. My mother would have been able to use Turbo tax
What's not so great: none that I noticed

Less than an hour and received a carryover from last year I forgot, but Turbo Tax did not when I imported the return. E-file was a breeze, Thanks!!

DON'T tackle TAXES without TURBOTAX !!!

I now have used TURBOTAX for more than 20 years!
{A Loyalty bonus would be nice; I use Quicken too}.
I NEVER want to go back to preparing my taxes without it!
My FAMILY does not want that EITHER! They remember what I used to "BECOME" during the tax preparation torture times! Be nice to yourself and your family - use TURBOTAX every year!

What's great about it: Ease of use. 100% Accurate. Handles all my complex issues and investments!
What's not so great: Florida does NOT have a state income tax. Their questions don't reflect that fact and force a "wrong choice".
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I just love that you get flagged if you don't put in the right information. Its better than being flagged by the Government! A good friend would have your back!! Just like Turbotax!~
What's great about it: User Friendly .. felt like I had a friend to help me through the fear!
What's not so great: Figuring out depreciation should be easier

Absolutely love Turbo tax

I really love being able to do my taxes at home and at my leisure.Turbo tax is so easy and helpful.I trust the experts and find them very helpful.I really like the fact that they can transfer any information from my previous year taxes.The only objection I have is that the price goes up every year,but it is still cheaper in the long run then driving to an accountant or other firm that charges a whole lot more.

I have been using TURBOTAX products for a number of years for personal and business returns and always have found the products to be state of the art and top of the line products. My returns have been easy to prepare, very detailed and accurate.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, logical, accurate and easy to follow with easy to access tax information help.
What's not so great: There is nothing negative I can say about the product.
