Turbo Tax review

We have used this product for many years. It is clear, concise and easy to use. Helps me keep all records stored on computer year after year. Makes filing easy and helps us easily stay organized. I can't imagine filing taxes any other way. No other software comes close that I have seen. thanks for a great product at a great price. That is the other thing we love is that the price has stayed very reasonable over the years. Great company, great product, hope you stay profitable and productive for another 20 years.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes is easy and organized to file tax returns each year
What's not so great: I don't enjoy paying to e-file state tax return

Still having difficulty maneuvering through the myriad of choices. When asked a question, the content is sometimes ambivalent or way out in left field through the wording used when it asks for information. When checking out, the password seems to be obvious to the system, but our notes don't always match. Have to ask TurboTax each year to refresh our memories as your info doesn't match what our written records show. Don't know how you generate a different password than what we've written in our paperwork.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax did provide necessary info. The only thing better than Turbo Tax is NO tax.
What's not so great: Frustrations with maneuvering through Turbo Tax is amplified with normal stress at tax time.

A Great TT Experience, Once More

We've used Turbo Tax for a number of years and it certainly simplifies doing our taxes. We like the ability to be able to begin the return and then add to it as things come in. Also the ability to download from various financial institutions is a real plus. It's nice to see the effect of items as you add them for deductions. Also, we pay estimated taxes every year, and the estimation process for the next year has proved very helpful to us after having to pay alot one year.
What's great about it: Been using TT for a number of years and love it -- brings in last year's info and can download from external facilities!
What's not so great: Hate waiting for all of the updates sometimes.

There shoud be a way to find entries bur using search same method as Quicken uses.
What's great about it: Accurate arithmetic
What's not so great: Schedule D and attachments are difficult

It was wonderful

I have used TurboTax for years and would not attempt to do my taxes without it!! Although I am 77 years old and have a daughter who is a CPA, I do my own taxes with the help of TurboTax!!!!
What's great about it: I liked that it did the work for me!!
What's not so great: I was pleased with the entire package.
