Turbo Tax gets it done

Filing taxes couldn't be easier than with Turbo Tax. You don't have to set up meetings with a tax consultant to get professional results. You can sit down and do it all at once or spread it out as your time allows and feel secure knowing you are getting the best results. Thank you Turbo Tax!

Turbo Tax makes it easy to file. using 10 years

Had trouble with the complicated non resident MA state return. Basically I answered on question wrong. Note the non resident form is complicated (at least for me). The advertised small print doesn't tell you that there is a charge for State returns.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: paying for state e-file

For those of us who's tax situation isn't too complicated, I can't see why a tax preparer is the best choice. TurboTax understands the filing process better than any local tax expert possibly could. If you pay attention to each screen, the interview assures you of getting the best result possible. I have great confidence.

It is a life saver in preparing the tax forms and the email submission. This is the third time I have used Turbo Tax and it is a stress reliever.
What's great about it: Easy to work with, and helps with the detail information
What's not so great: Had a little trouble with the HSA area, but I did get it to work

When performing the state portion of the process there was no information in the data base for Pennsylvania town/city ID numbers as it applies to wage taxes other than a couple references to the major cities; All towns, boroughs, townships and villages generally charge the occupant a wage tax as well as a property tax.
The use of the chat-line was very helpful to obtain information, but the information supplied pertained to the school district's code number.

What's great about it: for the federal tax portion, the process and information was great
What's not so great: the information pertaining to state tax processing was lmited and difficult to retrieve.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
