Have used turbo tax for several years, tried the other guys once and was disappointed. I like the walk thru on all of the categories.
What's great about it: Turbo tax steps you thru the same questions a paid tax preparer would ask. Why pay them so much, when you can do it !

Turbo Tax Program Review

I would recomment the program overall. However, a compare to what yu filed last year is advised.
What's great about it: The Easy step is easy to use
What's not so great: The program seems to handle the same items differently in different years.

Easy to get refund by direct deposit info

If paying state tax by check, hard to understand about how to get form to print. Overall it is a great way to do taxes. I have used it for several years and have never been audited. I like the audit check and review. It has improved over the years...much easier to use.
What's great about it: Instant transfer from last year.
What's not so great: Way you have to pay State filing fee.

Ease the Pain

I have been using Turbo Tax for many many years. It is very easy to go through the step by step data input and it eliminates all calculations. The carry over of information from year to year is very helpful. Tubo Tax takes the very painful procedure of filing Income Tax and make it quick and easy. It is so well done that I have had no reason to consider any other tax filing method.
What's great about it: Easy step by step procedure.
What's not so great: A little wordy.

Pain Reducer

This is the first time in over 25 years that I prepared my taxes without the help of a professional and the first time with Turbo Tax. It is a painful job paying takes, but Turbo Tax elimates as much pain as possible. This is a great product - simple, easy and fast.

Like Date Night with My Wife!

This actually gets easier every year because TurboTax remembers so much from the preceding tax returns. I am being very honest when I say I actually look forward to doing my returns with TurboTax. Why? Because my wife and I work together and we feel so happy when it gets emailed out! It's like date night, but we usually make money instead of spending it. We both talk about our teamwork and how well we did, of course with the help of TurboTax. Also, really like the email service from within Turbo. Now waiting for our refund to be deposited into our bank--oh yea!
What's great about it: Easy, Simple, Fast and enjoyed teamwork of my wife!
What's not so great: None!

Was very easy to use and understand. Have done my own taxes with Turbo for seven years and have never had any problems understanding or preparing my Federal and State taxes

Makes complexity Easy

Been a Turbo Tax user/efiler for 7+ years in a row. Would never go any other route or other software! Income from many sources, complex, and works well.
What's great about it: Prompting improves every year.
What's not so great: I liked it all--no real cons.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
