Hard to get used to

I had a difficult time importing last years H&R block so I had to type most of it in, and finding forms. I also have to say I had a difficult refund this year, so it was challenging at best! I choose Turbo Tax because H&R block just wasn't cutting it for me anymore. I wanted to try something new. It was a great program once I got familiar with it. It gave me choices, told me what I was doing (wrong or right) and led me through the entire process. And I could make changes with out starting from the beginning. I also liked how positive the screen is and the make up of the program is, even if your returns look glim, the program itself just makes you want to smile. I know that sounds silly... I am just really happy I choose Turbo Tax. It took some getting used to, but I made the right choice.
What's great about it: Was much easier to use than H&R block
What's not so great: Had a hard time finding forms, but once I found them I was on my way!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple and straightforward

As easy as taxes can be with our ridiculously complex tax structure. Just follow the steps and answer questions as they arise and the return is done!
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
What's not so great: Sometimes keeps asking if I want to import data when I always enter data by myself

Easy returns

TurboTax was easy to install and follow directions. I didn't have to have someone explain anything. I didn't have to have an expert help me file my taxes could do it from home.
What's great about it: Easy to follow without getting my tax accountant
What's not so great: none

Except for the addtional credit card charges for filing the program has continued to be a great product.

Quick and Easy - Cake Walk

Easy and Fast, the auto download from investment accounts is worth the price of the Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It asks you all the right questions and helps you navigate the difficult
What's not so great: A little hard to find specific pages with-out going thru complete sections.

The effort to enter easily available information much too difficult. The interface is very poor. There should be a section for oil trusts that you can get to with one key stroke.
