Guided well

I've used Turbo Tax now for about fifteen years. I've never been disappointed and have always appreciated the guided assistance.
What's great about it: Step by step process and ample opportunity for review and correction was very helpful
What's not so great: A little difficult to locate points in return for correction, but ultimately found everything

Better and Better

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and it gets more intuitive every year. Our family had 3 international adoptions that can be a nightmare for even the best tax people. These adoptions had deductions and credits that carried over for several years, and that alone would have cost me hundreds of dollars in tax prep fees.

2012 Return

Overall very satisfied with the product and have used for a nuber of years. Only flaw I saw was in the rental prperty depreciation. If yo were, say a 50% owner, all the deductions and expenses were computed at 50%. However, when you put in the property value for depreciation, the program DOES NOT compute it at 50% so you have to go back in reduce the property value by 50% to get the correct depreciation number!
What's great about it: Clear, concise and easy to use
What's not so great: DID NOT compute rental depreciation correctly.

Real simple

I've used Turbo Tax for about 6 or 7 years now and each time I am confident my return is accurate and I don't have to worry about a review by the government- even if I am audited. Thanks so much for all the effort you put into making tax time a fairly pleasant experience instead of the drudgery it use to be.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and I love the assurance.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

Easy to use

In the INCOME section, I entered an income amount that did not show up on the screen that compared last year number in that category to this year. However, the value was on the forms and calculated in the total.
What's great about it: Each year the software is easier to use and follow the steps. And I like all the questions and advice.
What's not so great: Not all the fields on the screens were update with values I put in, but there were on the forms and totals.

Great Tax Filing Program

Have been usuing TurboTax more than 10 years now. Recommend it to all tax filers.
What's great about it: Easy to use , comprehensive and accurate
What's not so great: After an online update program does not go back to whre it was!

I can't do taxes without TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for over 8 years. Instead of being a dreadful task, TurboTax makes it easy to enter all my information from my collected pile of data. I'm sure I add 4 weeks to my lifespan and also have time for more fun activities.
What's great about it: This is so easy! It would take me weeks to do without TurboTax.
What's not so great: Should be an easier option for printing CA return without printing Fed 1040 again.

I really appreciate the way the program walks you step-by-step through every major deduction topic. It really helped us identify every possible credit/deduction we could take for college expenses.
