it walked me through the process in about 45 minutes a process that used to take me several hours - easy to follow (and I'm an old man) and helpful. I used to do taxes by hand (last year used TT for the first time). I will stay with TT because it's so easy particularly with the investment forms.
What's great about it: excellent program
What's not so great: only one state return needed one for my son & daughter
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Multi-year user Turbo-Tax performance review

I have been using TurboTax for several years and have been very pleased at how easy it is to enter data for both State and Federal returns. The e-file capabilities are exceptional and much appreciated.
What's great about it: Well developed, easy to understand & follow, easy e-file

EFFECIENCY

EASIER THAN BEFORE. SOMETIMES THE PROGRAM WOULD "PROTECT ME FROM MYSELF". SINCE I KNEW WHERE THINGS SHOULD END UP, I SELECTED THE FORM AND ENTERED INFO RIGHT ONTO IT....AND DID NOT GET ALL THE ERROR MESSAGES AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS
What's great about it: iT WAS EASIER THIS YEAR THAN IN THE LAST TWO TO GET INFORMATION ENTERED
What's not so great: the help area in the upper right is ghetto!

All in all great program been using it for years and defibatly would recomend to friends and family.
What's great about it: Great program for taxes
What's not so great: little confusing in the schedule forms when asking for expanation

After Dinner and Before Bed

Love this application....so worth every penny of the purchase price....I started my taxes last night after I returned home from dinner and was finished within 1 1/2 hours....completely!
What's great about it: Easy, Quick, Clear
