Always a Great Experience

I love TurboTax. This is at least my 10th year using it - probably longer. I would never use anything but TurboTax to do my taxes each year.
What's great about it: Guided Instruction makes the process smooth!

A few years ago I took a return that I had prepared using Turbo Tax to a tax preparer to see if I could get any additional money. After looking it over, he said that I had the max amount of money. I like that information is saved from year to year so that I don't have to re-enter it every year and it remembers the forms that I have used.
What's great about it: It downloads previous years info so it saves lots of time

I have used Turbo Tax ever since I grew up and couldn't to a 10-40EZ . I love it and recommend it to all my friends and co-workers.
What's great about it: They way it walks me along and then reviews it for me.
What's not so great: Nothing, really

ALL IN ALL THE PACKAGE WAS WELL DESIGNED AND FAIRLY EASY. WITHOUT SOME KNOWLEDGE OF TAXES IN SOME CASES IT WAS A LITTLE DIFFICULT.
What's great about it: THE PACKAGE WAS EASY TO GO THROUGH AND MAKE ENTRIES.
What's not so great: SOME FORMS WERE DIFFICULT .

I have used turbo tax for many years and was very disappointed when I learned the option of burning a C D was no longer an option. That was a very efficient way of saving the return, not using any paper, and storing off site.

Turbo Tax 2012

Not sure that all K-1 data correctly entered. Seemed to only get foreign tax credit for one entity, but have two brokers and several foreign taxes.
What's great about it: Loads last year's data automatically. Easy guidance.
What's not so great: K-1 entries for multiple K-1s very confusing. Foreign Tax credit entries confusing.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used TurboTax for at least 7 years. I have found it to exceed expectations each time. i can rest easy knowing my returns are filed correctly and on time. My refund always arrives promptly when expected. Thank you TurboTax team for your expertize in improving and updating the program each year. I find it very helpful to have the categories of income and expenses spelled out so clearly and completely so that nothing is missed.
I do have one request. I wonder if it would be possible to process the retu4rn without using itemized deductions first in order to check whether the extra work and effort of itemizing is actually necessary. Currently the program compares the standard deduction and the itemized deductions and allows us to choose either number. Our income is low and the higher number may not actually help. I'd like to compare the results to find out. I think there are others in a similar situation who may also like this option.
