Turbo Tax 2012

I would love to have Turbo tax gather info from my previous returns . Specifically the asset depreciation information . I have been using turbo tax for at least 16 years and that would be helpful for a rental we own.
What's great about it: Easy to follow even when not using the easy guide. Has additional explanations should I want to know more.
What's not so great: The audit meter is frightening!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I must say that Turbo Tax is an EXCELLENT product!

Used Turbo Tax for at least the 8th time. As usual it was simple, to the point and asked all the right questions.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, thorough.

takes the worry out of filing taxes

helped me find a deduction i didn't even know i could take. although I ended up owing money, its nice to know i am not over paying.
they have made the process so easy and helped take the stress from filling out and filing my taxes.

Good but not as expected.

listing the bad things may be better for the app -
1. do not assume the user know many. the questions are confusing at many times, took a lots of my google and guessing time. for example, "did your property tax bill includes..."; another example, I did the join file, but the app ask if you filed and the amount, and then if my wife file and the amount, what shall i answer? no hint and help provided.
2. got lost on the navigation many times. hard to find previous skip/no-done items. note that i have used turbotax many years.
3. app value probably can +20% if it always, or provide a way to list previous year's info side by side. it is painful to do lots of search, recall, guess, etc. every year. having referencing info will save a lots...
4.do not know the way/event the app updates the return # on the top? when i got # for child credit, it did not change, when I need to pay repayment, it did not change. Eventually i think it might be pre-populated, and should be accurate. that is the most important # and the feelings. try to get rid of the 'might' and 'should' - as much as you can.

well, i think there have more, but it is 1am now, if it was better, i could recall more, but the brain is about stopping.
still a good app, though.

Easy and Pain-Free Tax Filing!

Tried TurboTax 2011 last year, and decided to give it another shot this year. My taxes aren't super-difficult to file, but being able to do it myself made it so much easier. The confidence of a proven product like TurboTax makes it easy for me to trust what I'm doing.
What's great about it: easy to understand and navigate
