Excellent software for inexperience tax preparers and tax pros. All needed is ability to read and follow instructions.

Great Tax App

I've used TT for many years. It rarely lets me down. I'm glad that they don't radically change the format of the app from year-to-year. It simply gets the job done. I usually type my info in, but this year I decided to import some mutual fund data. Apparantly, some fields (taxable state, fields with 0.00# were missing and getting that manually entered into the tool was very frustrating #error check wouldn't let me proceed). I had to eventually delete the imported data and enter it manually. Not a big deal.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Easy to File
What's not so great: Augmenting imported data has a bug

Using TurboTax is so easy! I had purchased a competitor's product, and it didn't work, so I went ahead and purchased TurboTax. Not only was it easier, but it also found me a bigger refund! Thank you, TurboTax!

I have used Turbo Tax since it first was available.
It provides me with the confidence to file my Federal and State Income Tax with peace of mind.
I have never had a Federal or State Tax Return be questioned by the IRS or Pennsylvania.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax is a comprehensive tax program that includes all of the changes to the Federal and State taxes.
What's not so great: The empty blocks that required typed input were not bold and hard to see.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Saved a ton of money doing taxes online compared to going in store. First time user and it was extremely user friendly. Strongly recommend!

When you have a Schedule K-1 and a Schedule C, be careful and review the Schedule C since Turbox Tax transfer the K-1 company information to the Schedule C which is normally not correct.
