Easy to use!

I have been using TurboTax for 10+ years and love the way it imports the prior year's information making each subsequent year easier and faster to do. This product walks you through every step as if someone is there holding your hand. I will continue to use this product and have recommended it to family and friends over the years.

Inacurate info

I pay locality(Cincinnati) taxes in one state(Ohio) and state taxes(Indiana) in another, the turbo tax program said I needed to file a return in the state where the locality taxes are taken out of my check. I called the State of Ohio and they said I do not have to file a State Non resident form but I my have to file with the city of Cincinnati. I called the city of Cincinnati and was told I do not have to file anything with the city as long as my employer took out the full city payroll tax.
What's great about it: just put in info and calculations are done

The state tax program is horrible. Turbo tax does not explain anywhere close enough in detail to assist, especially for part year resident filing.
What's great about it: form filling and filing
What's not so great: incomplete screening questions leading to erroneous data entry
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was worried about the stock I sold last year, until turbo tax pulled all my information from scottrade and placed everything in the correct location, with the proper forms. Fantastic.
What's great about it: step by step walk through, transfer last year data, and simple.
What's not so great: state efile not free.
