easiest yet

keeps getting better every year. why anyone would pay to have someone else do their taxes is beyond me. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: simple enough a teenager could do it
What's not so great: couple pages had to click multiple times to get to advance

Solid and Dependable

I have been using TurboxTax for 12 years+ now and still feel I can do my own taxes without issue. The software guides me through all my situations that affect my tax retruns each year. It's like having an accountant on my hard drive without the expense and wait.

This year I was delighted that most of the info I needed from investments including my REIT was directly imported into the program saving me hours of data input. The federal taxes were really simple to do. However, the state taxes involving two forms of renewable energy credits were not as straightforward and I had to call the tax people for clarification since Turbo Tax did not have the needed info. Overall, I think TurboTax is outstanding and I couldn't get through my taxes without it.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step. Convenient way to access forms, too.
What's not so great: A bit confused with the Hawaii download. Not all forms are available and have to print out and send.

Big Help with Taxes

Great help with a fairly complicated tax return with many sources of incomes. I love the walk through features and the check features as well. I could not imagine doing taxes without this program!

Love the links you can click for more info on each section. I feel confident and secure that I am maximizing my deductions, and that I'm staying within IRS guidelines. This is my 5th year using TurboTax, looking forward to my 6th!
What's great about it: Very easy to understand itemized deduction sections
What's not so great: None

Thanks again. It has been at least 10 straight years of Turbo Taxing - it gets easier every year.
What's great about it: Just filling in the blanks - even I can do it
What's not so great: It would be nice if state return was also free!
