Talk about Easy!

I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 7 years, and each year it gets even easier. Even when I had a life-changing event several years ago, Turbo Tax walked me through it with no problems whatsoever. I would recommend it to anyone who can read and use a computer!
What's great about it: Extremely user friendly!
What's not so great: None that I can think of....really!

One form had errors

Pennsylvania form 1630 does not calculate exception 2 worksheet line B when line A is entered. Line 13 is then not filled out (dependent upon B) This then does not enter the X's on lines 14A-15C. This then causes the penalty to be calculated incorrectly. If I calculate and enter line B and line 13 by hand and type the answers in the X's appear and the penalty is calculated.
Other than the above error all of the forms seem correct and are easy to use

What's great about it: Easy to enter most numbers. The forms are then complete. Overall TURBOTAX is a very good product.
What's not so great: Pennsylvania form 1630 is not filled out correctly. This has been true for at least 2 prior years and hasn't been fixed

I recommended to my family to file with turbo tax, i ave been using turbo tax for the pass six years.
What's great about it: very accurate
What's not so great: system freeze constanly

Overall, Turbo Tax was easy to use and good to use if you do not have complicated returns. However, there are certainly some limits to the program.
What's great about it: Copied information to multiple places where needed
What's not so great: Poor ability to snap back to input area you wished; Problems with overriding depreciation values

Easy Tax Accounting

It is simple and direct, sometimes on accuracy check some bogus requirements pop up that I did not even deal with. It made my email filing difficult since it kept asking about some home energy tax credits that I did even deal with nor filed for. I hope the e-transfer went ok to the IRS. I hope the IRS did not get the energy credit form since I am not filing for any.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: Asks or requires info not necessary

Despite California's making the 2 page Federal into a 5 page State form, TurboTax made it easy. No sooner than I downloaded the State, most all of the forms including several schedules were done; a few questions later and they were done. Try that by hand.
I'm bummed that I couldn't use the older computer and had to switch away from the 2011 and prior year files.

What's great about it: Easy steps throughout the entire tax forms. State was a breeze. Enter & exit easily.
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to review the group of data I put on the one form.
