complications due to past filings

it seems impossible to get Turbo Tax to accept changes within business situation. years gone by I had a home business related to my Profession, the home business closes long ago. each year Turbo Tax adds he business to my form and must be manually removed. Turbo Tax has also added faulty data to tax returns related to this terminated business. Last years return automatically switched to my spouce after my income data was entered, this year the form failed to allow this and my spouce's data had to be entered manually, even though the form acknowledged that it was a joint filling. The 2012 Turbo Tax deluxe was much less user friendly than the 2011 version.
What's not so great: failes to accept changes to past filling statuses on home business

1. Entering and reviewing interest, dividend, and gross proceeds transactions not easy. Suggest allowing to reorder the list alphabetically or by date and keeping the column headings always visible.
2. Also for Item 1, could the form be like a spreadsheet so one doesn't have to process through a number of pages for one entry of a long or short term investment.

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Seem to have to repeat steps if make one minor change

I'm pleased with the software, but it seems like some questions could have been filtered out based on prior answers (income, etc...).
The LA state software was a little thin. Didn't handle Citizens deduction for multiple homes well.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Too many questions. State not as good.

I like the fact that Turbo Tax checks for updates often! This is very important to me and I know this helps get everything I deserve on my tax return.
What's great about it: a easy pathway to getting all the taxes you deserve

I've been using Turbo Tax for six years. I love that you can import the needed info from last year's returns. You can also have your W-2 imported by your employer; how great is that! Very easy to use.
What's great about it: It is very explanatory, easy to use

I tried to find out at what point I could discontinue working on my return and how to start back up and never found anything remotely close to an answer.
What's great about it: Easy and complete
What's not so great: Help was not very intuitive. I never found my answer.
