This years version of TurboTax was better than the past. Easy to follow through and a little easier to go back and find areas skipped.

Such a relief

I was dreading my taxes this year since they included an out-of-state move an a new baby. Fortunately, Turbo Tax made it a breeze this year! Best of all, it's affordable!
What's great about it: Loved the ease of combining federal and two states this year!

I love this product, but I would prefer to pay the entire cost up front rather than be charged to file the state return later...

Simple and Easy to Understand

I've used TurboTax for several years. It has always been easy to use and asks all the right questions to maximize my refund. Then, when the next year is due, information is automatically transferred so that I don't have to re-enter any data. It also provides a helpful line by line comparison with the previous year's data.
What's great about it: Easy to input information with simple prompts

Excellent Program

I was very impressed with the Deluxe verision. Very easy to use, simple questions to answer. Included one state filing and efile was so simple and fast. The program walked me through and triple checked everything. I will use again and highly recommend

The program is fast and easy as long as you have all your paperwork together and ready. The amount of your refund is visible at all times.Email acceptance is quick.

Very Good, But Could Be Better

I've been using Turbo Tax for about six years and you can consider me a fan. I used a competitive program once before. It was complex and confusing. And using paper forms, as I did for years, is time-consuming and error-prone. Turbo Tax is easy to use and yet extremely sophisticated.
My biggest complaint has to do with what happens when the taxes are finished. I'm a self-employed sales representative. My income can vary by thousands of dollars from year to year.
You need to integrate a "what if" calculator (or a better one) to help me better estimate my taxes for the new year.
Also, please let me just enter how much I think I need to send in for the quarterly estimated taxes.

Awesome but...

I pay good money for my TurboTax CD and feel I am getting a great value/product. I just wish that the cons above were more equal i.e. online TurboTax has option of visa card deposit plus direct deposit and mail but desktop is only direct deposit or mail. Options should be available for all no matter how we obtain TurboTax. I may switch to free version vs paying so much to own it. Either way thank you for a great product/service.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for many years and love the ease of it all!
What's not so great: online filing vs desktop filing is unfair
