I have been using TTax since about 1980. It is the only way
to do your taxes. Easy. I have never had a problem. Gotten better over the years. Good going TTax.

easy to use

This was my first time filing my own taxes.The only thing I would have liked better would be that the pre-listed donations had more options. I wasn't sure what to do on the list your own so I could not list everything I donated. other than that I thought the program was easy to navigate. I will try the self list option next year. Maybe I will get more back. Thank you.
What's great about it: step by step instructions
What's not so great: donations
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Nice working overall

The program repeatedly stated that my information on miles driven for business purposes had not been entered, even though I had entered all needed information multiple times. It still looks like the information actually had been used among the deductions, it just appeared to have been flagged as missing.
What's great about it: Easy, intuitive interface, good links to IRS information
What's not so great: One major bug

Good but troubles

I have used Turbo Tax since 2002 and thiss is the first time I have found any real problems. We have never been audited. I haave full confidence in Turbo Tax. I do recomment it to my friends.
What's great about it: The systems as a whole was easy to follow and in great order
What's not so great: Problen on how to get the finished copy to print, took several times to figure out how to work the print system

what a struggle

It took me forever to find where to put in the fed tax withheld from a 1099-r, and more searching to find out how to apply refund to next year (it is well hidden!), and others even though I have been using TT for 5-6 years.
what is great is that i can import my stocks bonds!

from start to finish using turbo tax was simple. I took you through all the deductions may have thought about and some you didn't know was available.

Greatest Yet

It has been about 3 years since I used TurboTax, since our returns got a little more complex. I was pleased to see better handling of the K-1 Schedules for income from partnerships. Entering the data was a lot less painful than in previous years. There was no unnecessary jumping to forms in certain situations. We will definitely be back next year.
What's great about it: Efficient, intuitive and a great product for the price.
What's not so great: May have asked to print more often than necessary

So easy to use

This program made life so easy and saved my family a tone of money by helping to find deductions we weren't aware of. The guided tour makes it possible for a novice to use Turbo Tax. I have used your programs for several years and have found none that can compare to them. I am a loyal fan. I have been able to maintain and utilize past tax records by saving the files when I am done from previous yrs. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a ton of investments and quirky expenses.
What's great about it: easy to use due to the guided tour, takes very little time, helps you to know what information you need
What's not so great: none that i can think of
