I wish there was a little more extensive interview about any personal changes that may have happened since last years return. I may not be thinking of something that would help me.
What's great about it: easy to understand and to go back and check or edit info.
What's not so great: not confident that it interviews for all life changes each year

I just love it when you have the answers provided as part of the questioning on how to proceed! Since we only do this once a year it is great when repeat clients like me are calmed at the start by insuring that you are on the preparer's side! Turbotax has always shown me deductions I never knew I would need and make my refund the very best, outside of me keeping up with my W-4's myself.
I am thankful for being a Turbo Tax customer because you stress the fact that it is my choice and you are really on top of what it takes to get the best return/filing that is possible!
What's great about it: Taking it one step at a time and not letting you get lost in the process!
What's not so great: Experiance makes impact of the task less frighting

Almost Perfect

Pretty easy to use. Much better than the 'paper version'. Since I used TurboTax last year I loaded it and saved a lot of keyboarding, as I just needed to verify the data.
One issue was after dowloading the state return, it said downloaded when I hit "start" it just stalled. After several attempts I finally had to close the program then after restarting, I was able to open the state return.
E-File was very easy. It would be much better if you could pay one price at purchase for both Federal and State rather than having the extra task of paying for state e-file separately.

What's great about it: Very Easy to use. Saves lots of time vs the paper version.
What's not so great: State download didn't start as stated in help box.

I've used TurboTax to file my taxes for more years than I can honestly recall, somewhere within a few years of their coming to market. They have only gotten better every year. I only know that my stress levels during tax time have gone down down down every year I use it. Can't think of any other program I'd use to file. Thanks Turbotax, you guys rock!
What's great about it: TurboTax walked me through my refunds, state & federal, in very short order. Couldn't be happier with the process.
What's not so great: Finding and reviewing specific pages or documents is anything but intuitive. This definitely needs work!

fgreat on federal, froze on state

my experience would have been great except when i tried to do my state taxes it froze and kept going in an updating loop and showed nothing for my state taxes and i didnt think the program was going to let me file my state taxes. it freaked me out so much. i googled it and a response said to save return, close the program and reopen. i did that and it worked but i was so freaked by this that i dont want to give a very good review.
What's great about it: federal taxes were very easy
What's not so great: FROZE WHILE DOING STATE TAXES!!!!!

PURCHASED DELUX VERSION-FOLLOW EASY TO USE INSTRUCTIONS-USED SIDE BAR FOR QUESTIONS-DID FEDERAL AND STATE RETURNS WITH LOW RISK FOR AUDIT. SLIGHTLY OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE AND STILL LEARNING. USED H&r BLOCK YEARS AGO AND WAS NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE-HAD TO REFILE BECAUSE OF MISSING PAPERWORK-RETIRED BLUE COLLAR WORKER-CRAFTSMAN
