Reduced the amount I owed.

I've used TurboTax every year since it came out, I have always been pleased with the results, even when I owe taxes. I know This year I had to pay, a CPA / Tax friend said, "Bring it by, I'll find you some money they missed". I gave him my completed TurboTax return, & he said, "Good news is you did an excellent job on your taxes, no mistakes, bad news is you DO owe".
What's great about it: I trust the results.
What's not so great: Cost of filing state return.

Feeling good

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past several years, even though we have accountants in the family. I am able to utilize your program without phone calls to them. Makes me feel confident.
What's great about it: Goes through the steps at a rate I can understand

Have used Turbo Tax for years. This year seemed like there were more "interuptions" than in previous years. The linking to Partners was very annoying.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: didn't like review after each entry, wanted to keep moving. Didn't like waiting for Partner info to load.

Takes the Pain out of Tax Preparation

Overall, great experience. Intuitive; easy to follow instructions; appreciate pull of basic information from prior year. Good for novice preparer or for experienced pro.
What's great about it: Choice of "being led" or "finding your own way"
What's not so great: Would like to be able to view return without "printing"

I had used Turbo Tax for years and tried another software a couple years ago and was not happy. I will always use Turbo Tax.
