7th year using software, Never have had any problems.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Could have cost me several hundred dollars if I had not discovered this bug by comparing weith pror year
What's great about it: download from Broker
What's not so great: Did not apply "basis" to MRD and generate 8606
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy-Breezy

I've used this product annually for about 10 years now, so I know what to expect. Taxes are time consuming. Thankfully, you can save and resume work later. This same-type software is used at those tax-retail establishments. Why not save yourself a few $$ to accomplish the same goal?
What's great about it: Simple, step by step instructions and continuous updates.

Turbo Tax premier

I have been using Turbo tax for years. It makes preparing taxes simple and quick. They keep up with the ever changing tax code and put you in the right place to know your return is good with the government with no surprises. I wouldn't use anything else, even if they paid me.
What's great about it: gathers info from preceding years of tax returns prepared with Turbo tax
What's not so great: filing fee, should come with price of product but I guess some people mail their returns

love turbo tax

I love turbo tax. Its my 3rd year using it. However, when I try to e-file my state return they try to charge me and way too much. The software states it comes with 5 free federal and one free state. Overall I do love using, it has all my information already and it is very easy to use!
What's great about it: easy to use, tell you exactly what is needed, text and apps to check refund
What's not so great: state tax are impossible to file free like stated on software
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
