Turbbo Tax 2013

This is about our 7th year filing with Turbo Tax and we keep coming back for more. I must admit to the fact that our taxes are quite straight forward. No second or third house, no family owned business, etc. We are finding it fairly easy to input our interest and dividends from outside brokerage houses but there seems to be a lot of duplication and can't figure out why. We had to do the deletes by hand. Perhaps next year we will take time to address this.
Overall we are happy and don't plan to change.

Easy as Eating your Favorite Dessert

I really liked how easy it is to switch from Step-by-Step to Forms view. I like to visualize the forms as I complete the return.
What's great about it: Works Well with Quicken
What's not so great: Prints 1040-ES even tho I did not ask (4 pgsof wasted paper).

BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS WHAT ACTUALLY WAS ON W-2 WOULD NOT WORK ON TURBO TAX, EXCELLENT OTHER WISE.

I used "Deluxe" with a Roth Account. I had some confusion with looking up past donations. ("Premier" probably would have been better.) All worked out well in the end. Thanks for the great product and tax support.
What's great about it: Very Through

100% satisfied. The steps are very easy to follow which makes doing taxes very enjoying & sometimes entertaining to do. Along the way, I also learn a few things

Way to go turbo

I must say that this years return "Hrt" because I wound up owing nearly $2000 in Federal and State taxes. But it wasn't Turbo Tax's fault. It was poor planning on my part. I found using the program though was helpful and I hope to at least get my tx liability down for 2013. I had no problems with filling out the different forms and it was nice that the program reviews your information for accuracy.
What's great about it: The forms and information entry were easy to follow
What's not so great: Claim that the free State e-file seems misleading

Turboed My Taxes

Have used it for years. My husband makes me do our taxes and I really don't mind doing them since Turbo Tax came along. I love the way everything is downloaded from the previous year. Also love that you can download 1099's & other documents from bank's etc. so no more entering all those numbers. Turbo Tax is easy to follow & the prompts help you out along the way if a new situation arises. It's so easy to start and stop if you get interrupted - easy to jump right in again. Once you've completed the Federal, if you're lucky enough to have to pay State taxes, too - it just takes a few minutes because everything is transferred from the Federal. Gotta love it. I do.
What's great about it: Quick & Easy!
What's not so great: Hmmm. Can't think of any.
