DIY Timesaver

The software installed and operated easily, and would operate without an active internet connection (excluding e-file, obviously). It guided me through entering information and made recommendations on things like filing status and claiming exemptions. It also had an option to file paper forms instead of e-filing. However, it claimed I would be able to import my forms, but it never actually imported ANY of them, nor did it tell me the form was unavailable for import. All in all, I'd use it again, and would recommend it for someone who needs to file from "home".
What's great about it: Software works without internet connection (until e-file)
What's not so great: Wouldn't import my W2 or 1098T forms
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Saved My Sanity

Overall, I would rate this a 10. I have tried other programs and while I am not a numbers person, struggled through doing taxes manually, so this is by far the greatest, easiest program ever. I have been using Turbo Tax since 2004 and it gets better every year.
What's great about it: The Step by Step process is extremely easy.
What's not so great: The Help instructions did not always address my question.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbos Tax for the last 5 years. It has been reliable and given me insight to areas for deductions and credits I would not have known about.

What's great about it: It took me to new areas to make sure if I had these things happen to me this year or not.
What's not so great: I expected the Costco price to be cheaper than other places like Office Max. Oh, well.

I have used Turbo tax for serveral years now and compared to other tax software programs that I have previously used, I find TurboTax to be the easiest and best at finding deduction that may be over looked.
What's great about it: I was please with easy walk method and teh option to work through the forms manually.
What's not so great: Nothing to advise of that I didn't like.

Simple to use

I do not like for the estimated tax forms to be preprinted with the covered estimate amount, many people elect to submit a different amount for their quartely eastimate.

Sooooo easy!

This software is so easy to use. Just fill in the blanks and instead of something taking hours and maybe even days, you can finish your taxes in a couple of hours!
What's great about it: Everything is spelled out right in front of you which makes doing your taxes oh so easy!
What's not so great: I didn't find anything
