Turbo tax is an excellent product and convenient to use from the comfort of your home. We have been using for years and is an excellent software! Definitely recommend!

I have trusted Turbo Tax to do its best for me for many years now. I wish there was a way keep track during the year but experience tells me that my own spread sheets are quite effective IF I keep them up. I also have been able to keep the receipts. etc. that I need, but it would be helpful if Turbo Tax sent those of us that file a list of what exactly to save so we would not have to spend so much time collecting the information at tax time.
What's great about it: walk through was good, effective
What's not so great: wish there were other ways to determine deductions

Was able to do my In-Laws return from scratch this year with ease!
What's great about it: Helps to cover all aspects of taxes.
What's not so great: Advertising panels as you are doing returns.

Love using Turbo Tax to file return!

Gathering tax information is the tedious work of filing. Once this is completed, I know that Turbo Tax will make my filing a pleasure. I've done it 'by hand' and used an accountant and only Turbo Tax keeps me informed as I move along with entries and allows me to question decisions 'on the spot' by using Explain This and Help. Having the prior year figures and information serves as a check of this years work and is a big time saver. This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax and it improves with every year.
What's great about it: 'Explain This' is a great tool, transporting prior year amounts helpful
What's not so great: none!

Whoopee! It is done!

Due to amended returns in 2011, I had received a state refund and later paid some tax. I was not sure how to enter those figures and there was no clear guidance for this issue. I was finally able to get all of the amounts into the right places.
In the questions below regarding:
"Life Changes" you should add: "Retired" and
"Family" you should add "Grown Children, not dependents"

What's not so great: Some trouble due to amended Fed & State returns in 2011
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent...will never use any other device for filing taxes.
What's great about it: Easy, Quick and loved the step by step guiding
What's not so great: Calculator should be a part of screen instead of having to pick from drop down menu.

Have been using Turbo for years and found it user friendly and helpful. I would like to it keep the boxes I checked - checked, so that when I review what I had completed I do not have to answer all the questions again but just see what I had responded in the checkbox the first time
