Turbo Tax is awesome

I have used Turbo Tax for years and wouldn't use any other program. Do ours and our three kid's returns. So easy to use. Easily understand all instructions. Easy to file. Easy to save files electronically.
I recommend it to others all the time.

Better Than Most Tax Programs

After a few years using this product, I have learned how to enter my municipal bond interest which represents activity within my state of residence, but it is not all that obvious to the new user with this type of income. Another source of annoyance is the cost to the repeat user who has a standing order. This usually turns out to be substantially more expensive than if the program were purchased locally (probably with promotional discounts). I often feel foolish for being loyal.
What's great about it: Ability to enter my own data without all the questions
What's not so great: In-state muni bond interest from a national fund.

Great Guide

Turbo Tax guided us step by step and even translated items so that the everyday person could understand them by letting us know what is 'normal' or not.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My personal accountant

I have been using TurboTax for a few years now, I always liked your product and thought that it was a great product. However, this year was a breeze! I felt as if I had my own personal accountant sitting at my side. I love the fact that you can receive the latest updates about laws or forms, having the helpline, and the feature that if I get audited I can have the added assurance that you are on my team! My children and some of my friends have accountants who do their taxes, but I feel as though I have one too, but for a lot less money!! Good job Turbotax!
What's great about it: fast, efficient, economical!
What's not so great: Couldn't find any!

quick & easy

I have used Turbo Tax for over 12 years and it has always been efficient and easy to use. It seems that the program gets easier each year. I always feel confident that my returns are accurate.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax does most of the work for you! All I have to do is enter information form my documents.
What's not so great: none

First time I did my own taxes in many years!

Very easy to use. Simple and complete instructions. I will use TurboTax again next year. It only took me a couple of hours and I feel it was very accurate.
What's great about it: Easy to use with good detailed instructions
What's not so great: I thought the e-filing at the end was suppose to be free
