The ease and convenience for which TurboTax allowed me to file my return made me feel relaxed and confident that it would be done successfully. I also appreciated the help icons throughout.

Military Mom Helped File Soldier's Returns - Easy!

Love Turbo Tax. Easy to use. Pulls the info from previous year's returns (if you filed TT previous year). Done and Done!
What's great about it: Piece of cake - including understanding combat pay, domicile vs. residency, domestic duty station and everything!
What's not so great: None (except that I couldn't convince my Soldier to invest in a nominal IRA!)

Fantastic Product

Overall this program is unbelievably user friendly. Almost impossible to make an error (unless you input wrong info).
I really like the way it goes through each section allowing you to skip a section, save, and go back to complete the information.

Great way to file Taxes

Easy to work with and I could see what change would be if made IRA contribution. Then make decision which way I wanted to go. Quick to file, so could then take a nap!
What's great about it: Quick, easy and walks me thorought entire process
What's not so great: Can't remember security answer-can not get through

I find turbotax very easy to use. Just following instructions and tips make easy filing. I'm been satisfied for 5 years now using this application. Keep up the good work.

Poor, poor, poor

Many items that usually transferred from previous year, did not appear in this years forms. Had to open previous year's forms and manually type them in. (Passive loss carryovers, simplified method of determining taxable portion of annuity, etc) . Program totally crashed several times. All work appeared to be lost at first. Had to totally quit the program and start over. Then most data reappeared. Couldn't print return for study and review before electronically submitting. I have been using Turbo tax for 15 years and this is by far the worst program yet.

Have used Turbo Tax for years and have always been very satisfied. I gather stuff throughout the year in one folder and then I can just sit down, load Turbo Tax, and walk though it in less than 2 hours. The free electronic filing along with the direct deposit option makes it totally worry free. Another year down with no stress thanks to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Walks you through filing your tax returns with ease. Once your info is gathered, it takes less than 2 hours.
What's not so great: This year had trouble finding where to report gross proceeds on sale of inherited home (1099-S)

I am a resident of Maryland, job in Virginia. Turbo Tax said i needed to buy Virginia return, yet when I went to virginia Tax on internet, I was exempted from filing in VA. Thus luckily i did not pay for Virginia return from you.
What's not so great: virginia non resident return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
