For whatever reason it seemed the question flow was a lot easier to follow this year. Many different scenarios for my situation. Clergy, rental housing, teachers' pension etc. But Turbo was ready for all cases and easy to follow if had any questions.

I've used Turbo tax for years and it always has been easy. The improvements every year are great . Especially like the auto down load feature for investment information.
What's great about it: Straight forward, covers all areas of my return.

We have been using TurboTax for over ten years and it is still one of the best decision we ever made, much better and much more accurate than the CPA that we formerly used. Our return is just complicated enough that I would never be able to complete it without help, and TurboTax has provided that needed help each year.
What's great about it: fluid flow, complete, accurate

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years, and I wonder how I was ever able to do without it before. I especially appreciate the fact that I don't need an upgrade to handle the clergy portion of my return. The tax situation is still so complex, however, that I get confused at times. I notice, however, that every year the areas that confused me the year before seem to have been cleared up. Thanks for staying on top of things for me!
What's great about it: Couldn't do my taxes without it
What's not so great: Even with Turbo Tax, the taxes are confusing at times

Need to make it easier to look at the actual paper return.

good but for Illinois return

Generaly good, federal had what I needed but for Illinois state, had no mention of IL schedules M and 1299-C. I needed to know to add and could get M in turbo tax, but needed to go to IL website to get 1299-C.
What's great about it: Generally had info in organized way
What's not so great: Did not allow adding Schedule IL 1299-C, manual add Schedule M

Fast and furious

2012 Turbotax deluxe was very thorough, and while there were questions that did not apply, it was worth the time to be sure I had my maximum refund. The comparisons to last years return were valuable.

Overall good, but I had a hard time NOT doing my state form (my state has no income tax), and my military retirement 1099-R was not mentioned. I did include it in one section. YOur program needs a checklist of all of the items that apply such as getting socliar security, getting other retirement income, etc. This was better last year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow on the whole.
What's not so great: Had a hard time entering my Air Force 1099-R
