Easy as pie

I have been using TurboTax for years, and the step-by-step directions are easy to follow. Never need an accountant.

Rely very heavily on consistent detailed processing of all recovery of previous years data and integrating it into the current tax year. I'm almost helpless without it when it comes to tax time.

Great Program

I have used TurboTax for the last 5 years and really like the ease of use. It gets better each year. Even when we have to pay instead of getting a refund, I still feel we have gotten our taxes as low as we could. We will continue to recommend TurboTax to all our friends and family.
What's great about it: Love the ease of program. Simple questions and explanations of confusing subjects.
What's not so great: Slow download and installing of updates.

TurboTax Saved Me A Boatload of Time

My wife and I were fortunate enough to inherit a little bit this past year. Unfortunately, it came with a whole bunch of new forms and questions I'd never had to deal with before. TurboTax took me through everything I needed and put all of this new information in the appropriate forms. It was absolutely bullet proof!
What's great about it: Had all the answers to an all new set of questions from me.
What's not so great: Opening request for info won't go away unless you fill it out.

Tax Preparer is waste of money

Have taken tax classes in college, but TurboTax makes even complicated returns easy. It has never failed me in the many many years I have been using it.
What's great about it: Easy to use, even for a complicated return. Importing data from financial companies is a lifesaver.
What's not so great: Couple comparisons to previous year did not quite make sense, but 90+% were correct.

Beauracy made easy

Have used TurboTax for years. What is now needed by me is retirement issues explained clearly with filing explained clearly.

Everything I needed to file my return

Overall the tax software is very helpful. I have used Turbo Tax for the last couple of years now. I wouldn't dare do my own taxes without it. I like that I can start my taxes early and then have a few mothes to go back over things and read up on other things. I wouldn't be able to use this method without the soft ware and a tax specialist would be really anouyed with me. The Turbo Tax soft ware is the best method for me. Thanks
What's great about it: I like the step by step set up
What's not so great: some of the government lingo is a little confusing...more instructions written in laymans terms would be helpful
