I really like using Turbo Tax for filing my taxes. Each year the software updates improve the quality of the program. I have no complaints.

Great program but average person would need help with certain portions of return. Help line was great once I had someone on the phone. Wait time was extensive.
What's great about it: Easy to walk through sections
What's not so great: Had trouble entering K-1 information and having correct amt show up on form. Had to call help line
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Deluxe Federal Tax Only

I have used several tax preparation software programs over the last several years, however, I ALWAYS come back to Turbo Tax. The reason is simple...easy to use using the "step-by-step" process even for a novice and for the experienced user you can go directly to the forms, updates are automatic and fast, accurate filing, and stores all personal data for next year's filing. Turbo Tax is absolutely the best on the market!
What's great about it: Super easy to use...best on the market

Painful but efficient

When answering some questions, especially about retirement income it is a little disquieting not know what the specific answer will mean. Finding out effect of some answers can be difficult.
