So easy this year

The questions were v ery easy to understand and walked me through questions with the help screens.....I have used Turbo Tax for about three years now and have absolutely loved it. I realized one year that the accounting business I was using was using a software based package and thought I shoudl do it rather than paying someone to file our taxes. Very happy with Turbo Tax again this year.

Anyone can do turbo tax. The easy guide takes you through every tax question. I have used it for at least 10 years.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Had to mail federal because had leftover hsa funds

What's great about it: i like ability to self guide or be prompted at my discretion, and make corrections on forms or easy steps and apply
What's not so great: I like to enter data as it comes in daily, when I do that it asks the same questions the next day about the next 1099
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Make it more clear the correct place to make changes in the forms or worksheets after intial step by step walk thru.
Partial step by step info to make adjustments.
Always room for improvement.
What's great about it: Ease of initail entry and the transfer of previous years information.
What's not so great: Adjusting entries after the inital step by step.

Very difficult to pay with a credit card online.
very long delay in ability to launch the state return from within the turbotax software.
I wasted about 1 and a half hours of time because of this bonehead software not launching the state return..... just rediculous.

This problem needs to be fixed. Someone else will come up with a better software package than turbo tax. I will be waiting for it !!!!
What's great about it: All are outweighed by the Cons !!!!
What's not so great: Terrible experience with trying to launch the state part of my refund. unbelievably difficult process !!!!!

What's great about it: was fairly straitforward and easily folowed. the deduction asset was real handy.
What's not so great: one difficulty . I work maintanance. no vehicle.I had to change my title to janitor to continue.

Refund fed/ zero state

1099 misc kept showing with error. Couldn't get rid of form even though it did not apply to my return. Spent time trying to delete and finally put unknown in ein number and e-filed.
What's great about it: easy to follow

This is a great way to do taxes and know they are done correctly. Fast and effiecient way to get refunds back also.
