50 page tax return

I could never do my own taxes if it weren't for Turbo tax. I have used Turbo tax for years and years. I just wish the goverment would get it together (It shouldn't take 50 pages do do your return).
What's great about it: Everything from last year already there.
What's not so great: none

Program is easy to use, explanations are concise and understandable. Have never had any problems with the program or the tax returns filed using it!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and it gets better each year. The little comments while the program is loading are refreshing. The program grabs the information from last year's return so it saves time and potential entry issues. Best value for tax preparation
What's great about it: Choice of Step by Step guidance or straight to the details
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent product

I dreaded doing my taxes this year - first year I had to pay. I entertained the idea of having them done by a tax service but at the last minute bought TurboTax and decided to give it a try- voila - it worked fabulously. I was able to get all my deductions and income documented and TurboTax gave hints along the way. My printed copy looks exactly like the one my tax gal did for me several years ago and she charged me 3 times the price of TurboTax. Thanks for a great product.

Good, but could be a little Gooder.

My Government pension information always seems to be difficult to input. There always seems to be a very small difference between the TurboTax calculated amount of my remaining contribution and the 1099-R/my calculated amount.
What's great about it: Good prompts, dood questions, and trusted calculations.
What's not so great: Difficult to return and insert additional information without going through a lot of other information already entered.

Had trouble adding sales taxe item other than auto. Paid for wedding catering had to overwrite to add amount.

Turbo Tax makes paying taxes less painful!

Overall it's a great product. I've been using it for years. I only wish there was a "back" button. If you search for something and then want to go to where you left off it can be a little difficult.
What's great about it: Found some home office deductions I wouldn't have known I was eligible for
