Easiest way to file

Awesome software. I have been using if for years. Even with all the tax changes they still seem to make it easy to do my taxes on my own.
What's great about it: Awesome, step by step, quick
What's not so great: Can't do it before my morning coffee :)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Who would have guessed?

Who would have guessed that for the first time (since I have owned a home) that I would have been better off with the standard deduction than by itemizing my deductions? Not me and I probably wouldn't have made the calculations nor known the benefit.
It was also very easy to e-file both federal and state. Everything done in one day. From gathering the info to filling out the info for the forms, filing and paying. DONE!

Made tax changes manageable

I know computer programs are expensive, but maybe by having advertising sponsors, the cost could be lowered a bit. No one likes doing their taxes, but this program makes it "plug and chug" as we used to say about Physics 101 at Purdue!
What's great about it: Finished taxes on my laptop

I really like that it walked me through, my husband usually filed the taxes and recently passed away. I appreciated the guidance and support that Turbo Tax offered.
What's great about it: I liked that it walked me through step by step. My husband normally files them but recently passed away.

So Easy!

TurboTax is a wonderful application for doing your taxes. You can either be guided or do it manually - or both. When you are done it checks everything before finalizing. The easiest software out there.
What's great about it: Walked me right through the process.
What's not so great: E-file should be free.

Year after Year

Year after year turbo tax helps me with their step by step questions to complete my return. They do a good job of importing my data from past returns thus reducing my time of information input. It still takes me a couple of days to do my return only because I am slow and methodical. Turbo tax is great that you can save and come back time after time to adjust the return. I love the e-file.
What's great about it: Updates most information from my last return
