What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions. Like the feature that pulls info from last years return,and the feature that grabs info
What's not so great: Our cat thinks the laptop keyboard is her piano !!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent, and improving each year

Used TT Deluxe with Fed e-File and State again this year. I have used TT for many years. Seems each few years they make significant improvements which make the (painful) Tax Prep process go more smoothly. The intuitive process leads you nearly seamlessly through the Prep, completion and Filing. Follow up after filing is good, if not excellent. A few instances occurred this year where some (not much, but annoyingly some) data didn't pull in from last year's TT returns. This required some look-up on my part, slowing down the flow of smooth, timely completion. Also, there are times I like to have a print-out of the screen/page I'm on and there does not appear to be the ability to print the screen you're on. This is particularly true when you're in the E-Filing process.
All-in-all, a very effective tool for Tax Prep AND filing. Ease of use, accuracy and continuous improvement make TT a very good value.
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive, thorough process
What's not so great: could do a better job integrating prior yr. data, print the screen you're on capability
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

If I remember correctly, in previous years when returning to an unfinished return, TT immeadiately took me to where i left off. Not so this year. I liked it better the old way. But overall TT remains excellent.
Also, I appreciated the estimated time for udate downloads. I have DSL now, but when I had dial-up this was especially important.

Not bad - you are getting better at this.
What's great about it: Easier to navigate than previous versions. I had to go back and forth.
What's not so great: Still not possible to easily drop in to a particular place

I love Turbo Tax :) it holds my hand and walks me through the otherwise unpleasant task of completing tax forms. It's almost fun :) Thanks!
