As easy as pie

I have been using Turbo tax for years now and I am glad that I didn't have to suffer through a lot of videos.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, done in one sitting
What's not so great: Have to pay by credit card to save extra filing costs

Trusty Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years and like that last year's information transfer to the current year. It takes you through all the deductions and credits step by step.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax Deluxe covers all my tax issues and walks me through them
What's not so great: Not inexpensive

Taking the pain away from filing taxes

I count on Turbo Tax each year to file my taxes because I know it's quick, efficient and reliable and I will usually get the best return possible.
What's great about it: An easy to use program that does the hard thinking for you
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to navigate back and forth

Taxes used to be a horror story. Up until 11:45 on the due date. Now it's as easy as can be. Q&A instead of cryptic forms. Bravo.

In general Turbotax is an excellent program. It is easy to use. The online state filing is too expensive.

I like Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for 3 years and I like it very much.
First of all, the best benefit to use Turbo Tax is that you can save a lot of money and maximize your return. Turbo Tax will get all money you deserve for you.
Next, it includes huge information. No matter when you have a question about your tax return, you can get your answer immediately by clicking on related links. It works as a dictionary. You can also chat with a tax expert on line and it is free.
Finally,it can give you many good suggestions to help you save money in the future. For example, it will tell you how to estimate your tax return for next year to save your money.
However, it is not free for e-filing state tax return. Also, if you need to file tax return for different states you have to pay extra money.

Better every year.

I modeled my taxes for 2012 after finishing my 2011 return, using the 2011 software as a best estimate of what 2012 taxes would look like. I was able to try taking capital gains vs. Rroth IRA transfer. Cap Gains worked for me. Modeled again in early December, to refine activity before year end.
Carrying forward personal and financial information makes it easy. Even going into retirement, most of what I needed was set up for me.
Now I'll start modeling 2013 taxes.
What's great about it: Easy, from start to finish.
What's not so great: Still a little rough on foriegn tax
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
