Mac User Frustrated

Forms were unavailable even when a message was sent that they were available. I was so frustrated I loaded Turbo Tax on to my old computer. It worked great on my Vista platform. Mac users beware! I was Lucky I had an old computer as a default or I would be requesting an extention on my taxes!
What's great about it: user friendly

Late at night

After I printed my final copies, I couldn't imagine me picking up a form at the post office and being able to follow the instructions, i.e., enter on line so and so, which column to enter a number in on that page. Asking myself all the time, is that line for me and having to check last year's forms to even begin to guess what was expected of me. At my age specifics become a little more confusing. Turbo Tax takes away much or the confusion -- just answer the question and on to the next. Thanks Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Just answer the questions -- that simple
What's not so great: Occasionally I had stop and think what was meant but not often.

Easy to follow, step by step guidance for doing your taxes with Q & A's for typical questions during each step of the way. Highly recommended and very easy to use, just answer the questions asked. The simplest of people can follow these step by step instructions for completing your own taxes. I highly recommend this software.
What's great about it: Quick and easy step by step guide
What's not so great: didn't have your tax advisor sitting next to me

Consistently Efficient

I like the ease and simplicity, but carrying forward information from last year is by far the best part of TurboTax--not starting over every year when little changed. The comparative history is very cool also. Just a consistently dependable product. Thank you!

using the second year tax return takes less time- makes tax returns easier every year.

No tax background necessary. Turbo Tax guided me through my tax return preparation and provided answers to all of my questions.
