Turbo Tax 11 years and going strong.

In the interview you have to keep scrolling to the bottom to find where you left off. Would be easier if it just took you to the next item. I like the way the steps are together by topic and arranged like a table of contents. I like how it compares to last year. This years quick tips and information are easy to access on each topic. Much easier than past years. Thanks. I love Turbo Tax

Detailed, Quick and Easy

Turbo tax is a great product. It is covers all the necessary subjects in a clear and easy to use format. The option to have step by step instructions or a more user directed format make it useful for the noviice or expert that wants to do their own tax return and e-file. I have used Turbo tax in the past and find that it is great for all but the most complicated tax return.
There really are very few cons. the transitions between pages were a little slow but that may just be my old computer. And of course accuracy of the return is only as good as the data entered by the user.
What's great about it: Program walks you through the entire process so nothing is missed
What's not so great: Transitions between pages was a little slow.

Turbo Tax Rocks

I have been with Turbo Tax for about 10 years and can't think of anything negative to say. I have been lucky to find the best tax software that works for my family.

Pretty good, but...

As both my wife and I changed jobs this year, it was a little more complicated and TurboTax helped out quite a bit. BUT, (and for a tax program a big BUT) it did miss one thing as I was going through. I admit that I stopped part way through and went back to it, but it did miss a housing allowance on non-clergy religious income. If I hadn't checked back on that upon comparing with last years return I would have missed paying some of the Self Employment tax owed (though the "refund" number looked a lot better before I put that part in!)
What's great about it: Quick & easy and familiar as I used it before
What's not so great: missed one thing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hassle free filing

Been using Turbo Tax for many years and will continue to use it. Its easy, hassle free questions that led to a sweet refund.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Roth IRA eligibility, not clear if I qualified
Pros: I bought or sold investments
