Excellent Program

Very well designed and executed program. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and have enjoyed each use.

I have used Turbo tax for the last three years and have not had any problems with it . I believe it is the best on the market. Why pay someone $150.00 when you can do the same as they do for less.

Could not e-file!

I could not get my efile to transmit. I had chat help through TTax, for about one hour, and did all sorts of things to my computer. Last year TTax worked great. Now, after printing and mailing my returns, I am looking for a refund from TTax.
What's great about it: easy to use forms
What's not so great: could not transmit efile

The Turbo Tax program is overall quite good. The recent version had a small problem which meant that I had to search for the part of the program that allowed me to enter my estimated tax payments. While the program takes care of (almost) everything it helps to have some knowledge of all the items which need to be included.

The step-by-step guide was very easy to follow and understand, especially if you have all your tax papers ready to enter. I only got stuck at the end when it checked for errors. I had not previously seen the page the error was found on (Federal Carryover Worksheet) and did not understand what to do. After searching the community comments for over an hour, I finally found a good enough answer to finish my taxes, but I would have liked the option to ask about the page when it popped up. All in all, a good experience and certainly cheaper than going to a pro, I just wish my question could have been answered quicker and better, especially since I was not the only one with the same question...
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: confusing when errors found at end

Small problem

On the SCTC-1 Form in TT a box labeled PP Account must have something in it to continue without errors, but it is not to be used, it needs to be corrected to not require it to be populated. We receive a form from the state with the info for this and it does not have anything in that box.
