TurboTax has been my go-to for years but I was afraid that the sale of my house last year would send me to a tax preparer. I decided to bite the bullet and buy TurboTax knowing I could always find a tax preparer if I needed to. Well -- no need. I feel confident that my taxes are prepared properly and the house sale is correctly dealt with. Thanks TurboTax.
What's great about it: Dealing with a house sale was a breeze.
What's not so great: Tax laws can be complex no matter how simple the software is.

Plagued of errors

Lots or errors in the interface, and in the filing... it kept pushing for VA state submission, but I do not need to do t
What's great about it: easier than doing it by yourself
What's not so great: still very complicated and confusing interface and language
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Terrable when e-file rejected

There needs to be changes as when the e-file was rejected as the ein was not right the error message in turbo tax said "bad ein below" but there was no ein.
What's great about it: east to complete
What's not so great: E-file rejected but did not specify which ein was bad

Got the job done!

The flow of questions felt logical and thorough. The questions were understandable and the supplementary helps were also to the point and helpful. I like the multi-year comparisons and like the ability to save my forms in pdf format.
What's great about it: The step by step questions really helped me and the additional hints and links offered added depth when I needed more.

I love Turbo Tax, I had someone doing our taxes and we always had to pay a lot . Now it is Easy to do .
